Why this space is in English
(A message to my global community)
If you look around this website, you’ll see that a large part of my current project is tailored for Russian-speaking immigrants navigating their integration. But this specific page — «Blog in English» — is different.
I decided to keep this space entirely in English, and here is why:
1. For my students from Peru, China, Mexico, Ecuador, and Colombia.
To everyone I’ve had the privilege to work with, guide, and support over the years — this is for you. We’ve shared so many struggles, breakthroughs, and real-life stories. I wanted a place where I could share my thoughts, systematic ideas, and professional journey with you directly, without the clunky layers of page translators. You are a huge part of why I do what I do, and I want you to know that you are not alone in this big world. We are all connected.
2. A central hub for my professional writing
Outside of this website, I write a lot on platforms like Substack and LinkedIn, sharing my insights on language data, tech workflows, and how to look at communication as a system. Instead of scattering these pieces across the internet, I am bringing them here. It’s my workspace where English and Russian co-exist naturally.
3. Language as a raw tool, not a school subject
Writing about systems and language architecture in English keeps my focus sharp. It’s the environment where I build, test, and think.
What you will find here:
Personal reflections, professional updates from my Substack, and deep dives into how we can use data and modern tools to stop feeling like outsiders in an English-speaking environment.
Thank you for being here, no matter what corner of the world you came from. Let’s keep building.
